World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrade feature for items allows players to upgrade their equipment. upgrade item can be done at any item upgrader NPC.
Generally, upgrades increase an item's main stat and can give it additional benefits based on the type. Examples include Whistan's shield for FB sorcs, or Goldwrap for caster builds.
Armour
Armour is one of the main factors that keep Link safe from harm in all situations. Although it isn't able to be upgraded like weapons, it is able to be improved in various ways to improve its defence capabilities.
Armour is designed to safeguard animals and people from harm or injury regardless of whether it's a direct physical attack or a range of environmental or activity hazards. Historically, the majority of armour was made of leather or fabric, but metal protections were also used in military applications, particularly like heavy cavalry or combat drones.
There are a variety of ways to upgrade armour however, the majority require you to visit one of the four Great Fairy Fountains scattered throughout Hyrule. Each fountain has a distinct degree of improvement and higher levels of protection requiring more rupees and materials.
First, Armor Upgrades are permanent upgrades. Once they've been put in place they aren't able to be removed until you own a different piece of equipment with the same upgrade. It is recommended to only apply the highest-level upgrades to your equipment and ensure that you have the materials required to complete them.
You can find the upgrades you require in a variety of locations throughout Hyrule. These include shrines, merchants and even enemies. They are typically marked with an orange triangle or a gold circle symbol. They can be found in great quantities as you progress. They could appear randomly, however there is a chance that obtaining certain upgrades can trigger a quest that will reward you with more.
It's important to note that, although the level offered by each upgrade could vary, it will always be more than zero. A full set of upgraded armor will give you a powerful defense boost that will protect against all types of attacks, except magic. This makes it an effective weapon for any class.
Weapons

You can upgrade your guns by using special upgrades to create a truly unique weapon. They can increase the damage, alter the weapon's stats to cater to your particular build, and even unlock new attachments such as unique enchantments, ammo types, and aesthetic options.
You'll require both the upgrade component and the weapon itself to upgrade it. The weapon must be at a minimum of an appropriate level to upgrade it. Most weapons can only take one upgrade.
There are weapons upgrade components scattered across the globe and even from enemies, or they can be purchased from merchants. The upgrade components themselves are a combination of ingredients that can be incorporated into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to give an attribute bonus or other effect while they're in use. The equipment must be at a certain level in order to accept the upgrade. It can be upgraded the same way as other items.
The upgrades themselves are a combination of Smithing Stones and Runes, and they are used to improve the base stats of a weapon, and also to increase its scalability with other stats. These upgrades are available from enemies in the open or from merchants. They can also be dropped by combat.
There are two NPCs that can upgrade your weapons: the Blacksmith Hewg in the Roundtable Hold hub area and the Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor hub area. Both of these NPCs accept your Smithing Stones or Runes to upgrade your weapon.
It's essential to prioritize upgrading your best-in-slot items first, and then those you won't be replacing in the near future. Upgrade your weapon first, then upgrade your shoulders, chest feet, hands, and shoulders in case you intend to play in a melee-based build. The same principle applies to Magic and Utility Items. However, based on the style you play, certain procs will be more beneficial than others. Similar is the case for Armour and reforges, with some being superior to others.
Magic Items
A character is able to upgrade only one magic item at a time. If an upgrade project is canceled, any subsequent upgrades for that item will not begin. Upgraded item upgrades cost twice as much gold to make or purchase, but they can offer other benefits.
A magical item is an item with special properties or effects. Most of these items are weapons, however some include armor, shields, cloaks, potions, rings, scrolls and other objects. Some of these items are sentient.
Many magic items can have their abilities enhanced. This can make them more useful to a player, or it can help them overcome an especially difficult challenge. A weapon that contains an ingredient that is unique could offer, for instance, additional damage against a specific enemy type. This is especially useful for characters who have reached the level that they're likely to face a single kind of monster over and over again in dungeons.
A ring infused by magic could grant immunity to nonmagical attacks that bludgeon, pierce or slash (excluding attacks that are silvered) until the character is given a second rest. upgrade item is particularly beneficial for melee martial characters or anyone who wants to avoid purchasing an armor.
Certain objects with enchanted properties have special powers that allow the character to cast spells that aren't on their list of classes. This is helpful for characters who have difficulty filling their spell slots due to multiclassing. These enchanted objects require an Intelligence check (Arcana) and the spell is determined by rolling a table based upon the amount of Intelligence point expended.
Other objects that are enchanted can allow the character's appearance be altered or create a completely new one. These items are especially useful for characters that are forced to leave their home, or are in a location that they might not be welcome. A magical item can give them the ability to disappear or make them invisible to everyone except the chosen person.
Utility Items
Utility items are anything that isn't part of the categories of clothing or armor and come with a range of capabilities. Unlike Armor and Weapons, no one utility item will be in conflict with the other. Most utility items provide a passive effect that the player can activate by using them however, some come with additional capabilities that activate when the user presses a button or activates the ability.
The most popular kind of utility item is the Flashlight that illuminates the surrounding area. Other useful items include the Helicopter Cap and Rocket Boots which allow the player float in mid-air while moving and the Jetpack that allows him to accelerate in any directions while on the ground. In the Engineering section you can quickly create a variety of utilitarian items, whereas others are only available through research projects or experimental projects on the Proving Ground.
Players can unlock more powerful utility items in addition to the items they have in their usual inventory by purchasing them at the Atomic Shop or from seasonal Scoreboard rewards. Some of these items can be upgraded to allow greater effectiveness.
Most utility items increase an individual combat ability or provide the player with some kind of advantage when it comes to navigation. For example, Sharpening stones made by the Weaponsmith boost Ferocity and Power as well as Maintenance Oils created by the Huntsman improve the power of concentration and healing. Other items of utility can be utilized by players to increase Damage or Condition Damage.
All XCOM soldiers can be equipped with a utilitarian item at the start of the campaign. Eventually, an additional slot is made available through the use of certain types armor or completing engineering, research or experimental projects in the Proving Ground. During the Alien Hunters downloadable content, additional slots are available by equipping a Grenade Launcher. This permits players to utilize a Smoke Grenade or Bomb while an offensive grenade remains in the main slot.
